Estádio Etelvino Mendonça
Locals call it Mendonção , and the name it carries now is younger than the ground itself.
The ground belongs to the state of Sergipe rather than to the club that plays there, and it has been rebuilt in stages rather than all at once. Work began in October 1969 under minister Lourival Baptista and finished two years later. New stands went up in 1984 and 1985. The bigger change came in 2009 and 2010, when the old stands were restored and the ring was closed, lifting the capacity by roughly 30 per cent.
The most recent work went into the surface. During the 2023–24 rebuild more than 12,000 square metres of Celebration bermuda grass were laid, a variety cut to FIFA standards.
It sits in the Centro district, on Avenida Manoel Francisco Teles. AO Itabaiana play their home matches here.
