Stadium
Estádio Felipe Santiago
Fortaleza, Brazil
Formerly: Estádio Manuel Sátiro
Estádio Felipe Santiago is a patch of ground in the Vila Manoel Sátiro neighborhood of Fortaleza, built by a grandfather for his grandson’s team. Felipe Santiago constructed the field for the club then known as Às de Ouro, naming it after his own father-in-law, Manuel Sátiro, before the title eventually shifted to honor him.
The pitch is natural grass. The capacity is small. When it opened in 1965, the occasion was marked by a match between Ceará and Fortaleza.
Floresta Esporte Clube, founded in 1954, calls this their home. But for training sessions and youth matches, and for many a Campeonato Cearense fixture, this remains the place.
