Estadio Independiente MRCI

The ground sits in San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya, far from the centre of Oaxaca de Juárez. The stadium is defined by bright **red** concrete that runs around the pitch like a track, separating the green artificial turf from the stands.
The most striking feature is the white **canopy** that covers the seating areas on the longer sides.
This is not an old place. Construction began in 2017 and the venue opened in 2018, built by the Club Deportivo MRCI.
The stadium has hosted events beyond football. It saw the CONIFA North America Cup in 2023 and even a Lucha Libre show during a youth tournament. The MRCI corporation also operates a separate office in the city, but the ground itself is its own entity, sitting alone in the paraje of Lodani y Cuedani.
