What makes the Justiniano de Mello e Silva worth noting isn't the ground itself — 2,600 seats, a training-centre pitch — but who it was built for. The stadium takes its name from Justiniano de Mello e Silva Neto, the mayor whose administration put it up in the 1950s. This was one of them.

It has stayed a working ground rather than a monument. CTE Colatina, formally the Centro de Treinamento Edmílson Colatina Futebol Clube, founded on 5 June 1998, uses it as home turf, and the pitch was relaid entirely in a 2018 refurbishment that also brought the floodlights up to LED. There is no record of the ground ever carrying a different name, which for a stadium of this age and size in the Brazilian interior is itself a small distinction.

It sits on Travessa Avelino Guerra in Colatina, Espírito Santo, a natural-grass pitch measuring the standard 105 by 68 metres.
