Estádio Municipal Alberto Victolo

Tanabi, Brazil

Formerly: Estádio Municipal Alberto Victolo

Tanabi is a small city in the São Paulo interior, and the Estádio Municipal Alberto Victolo, known locally as the Albertão, is the town's main stadium.

The naming carries its own local history. Alberto Victolo served three terms as mayor of Tanabi, in 1977–1983, 1989–1992 and again in 1997, and died in 2015 at the age of 85. The "Prefeito" in the stadium's full name was added later, a nod from the town to his part in building up sport in the region.

Tanabi Esporte Clube, founded in 1942, calls the Albertão home, and the ground has also hosted matches in the Copinha.

Capacity is put at 8,400, though not every source agrees: some local accounts run the figure up past 11,000, even as high as 15,200. A running track was never built around the field.
