Estadio Municipal de Aserrí

For most of its life, Асерри ФК had nowhere of its own to play. The club, founded in 1940, borrowed pitches elsewhere — Десампарадос among them — and carried its home fixtures from one rented ground to another. That ended in August 2023, when the ground at Вуэльта-де-Хорко opened as a proper stadium.

The work came through the FIFA Forward programme, with the municipality of Асерри and the local power company alongside it. The changing rooms went up first: by February 2023 the new dressing facilities had already been handed over. The stands followed, and by the end of that summer Асерри was on the list of cantons that had gained a stadium under the scheme.

The full name on the paperwork is Эстадио Мунисипаль Арабело Фальяс, sometimes given at greater length as Арабело Фальяс Умания. It is an honorary name, not a commercial one — no sponsor has ever been attached to the ground. Locally people shorten it to Эстадио Арабело Фальяс, or simply call it by its neighbourhood, the stadium at Вуэльта-де-Хорко.

The site sits in the Росалия sector of the canton, in the province of Сан-Хосе, on natural grass. What stood there before 2023 was, by most accounts, a field rather than a venue; when it was first used for sport is not recorded. The club plays in the Сегунда Дивисьон, the Лига де Аскенсо.
