Estadio Municipal Los Chankas

The ground sits in the Andean province of Andahuaylas, in the Apurímac region, and is run by the Municipalidad Provincial de Andahuaylas.

In November of that year, the pitch and the drainage beneath it were pulled up and replaced entirely, at a cost of 1.193 million soles. The turf is natural grass. Around the same period, work began on a new Sur stand, part of a scheme priced at more than 50 million soles and still under way through 2026.

On 3 November 2024 , Лос Чанкас hosted Универсидад де Депортес in Andahuaylas and the attendance record was set — though the figure tells its own story about the venue's limits. Nine thousand tickets were sold, held below the listed capacity of 10,000 on safety grounds. A ground that can take ten thousand on paper let in nine, and that was the fullest it has ever been.
