Stadium
Estadio Municipal Rubén Marcos Peralta
Osorno, Chile
Formerly: Parque Schott, Estadio Municipal Parque Schott
For most of its life this was Parque Schott , or Estadio Municipal Parque Schott, and it kept that name from 1940 through to the middle of the 2000s.
Between 2010 and 2011 the main stand, known as El Morro , lost its timber terracing to reinforced concrete, along with new toilets, kiosks and multi-purpose rooms; that section opened on 28 August 2011. A further round of work ran from 2022 to 2024 — the synthetic surface replaced with one meeting FIFA standards, LED floodlights installed, cameras added, at a cost of around 100 million pesos.
The main tenant, Deportes Provincial Osorno , is younger than the concrete in El Morro: the club dates from 2012.
