Estádio Nildo Pereira de Menezes

The Estádio Municipal Nildo Pereira de Menezes, known as "Pereirão," sits in the Praça de Esportes in Serra Talhada, Pernambuco. It is the only ground in the town. The stadium was built during the mayoral term of Nildo Pereira de Menezes, funded by municipal resources and proceeds from the sale of Petrobras shares owned by the city. Construction took approximately five years, and the stadium opened on January 21, 1973.

The playing surface is natural grass. The capacity has varied over time: historical sources cite 5,000 to 7,000 spectators, while recent descriptions note a current capacity of approximately 3,000 due to structural decline and lack of maintenance. The stadium has not hosted official games since 2017 due to insufficient structure and licensing issues for local teams. Primary tenants include Serrano Futebol Clube. Former tenants include Serra Talhada Futebol Clube (which withdrew from Série A2 in 2022 due to stadium conditions), Ferroviário Esporte Clube (Serra Talhada), and Comercial de Serra Talhada. The official attendance record was set on August 24, 1980, during a match between Comercial de Serra Talhada and Santa Cruz, which Santa Cruz won 3–1; the attendance was 9,473 spectators. The venue has also hosted cultural events, including concerts and recordings of the television program "Serra Talhada, Meu Canto e Meu Encanto."

There is no dedicated official website for the stadium; it is managed via the city government portal (serratalhada.pe.gov.br) and the Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer (SEMEL). The stadium is unique to Serra Talhada and is named after the former mayor Nildo Pereira de Menezes.
