Estádio Odilon Flores

Between two court injunctions and one reopening, that is the shape of the Estádio Odilon Flores.

Mineiros Esporte Clube calls it home, and for a city this size the stadium carries the full weight of that role — there is no second ground to fall back on when this one is shut. The natural grass pitch sits in the Centro district, on Rua 10, a short walk from the middle of town rather than tucked away on some outer ring road, which keeps the stadium tied into the everyday geography of Mineiros rather than separate from it.

Opened in 1977, the ground has spent most of its life as a modest, single-purpose venue serving one club and one community, its capacity set at a scale built for a local following rather than for crowds passing through from elsewhere.
