Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez
Ciudad Juárez built this stadium itself — the push for the ground came from the local press, and construction started in October 1980. It opened on 12 May 1981, and the first match already told the story of a venue too small for its own crowd: Mexico's national team drew 0-0 with Atlético Madrid in front of roughly 23,000 people.
The stadium sits inside the Parque Público Federal El Chamizal, on Avenida Heroico Colegio Militar. Locals also call it San Benito .
