The club was formed on 11 June 2019, not as a rebrand of an existing women's side but as a new one, set up as the women's section of FC Juárez. It followed the men's franchise itself, bought from Lobos BUAP and relocated to Ciudad Juárez by a new owner who took on, as part of the purchase, a commitment to field a team in Liga MX Femenil.

The badge carries the letters FCF over a cactus set against the desert, echoing the men's crest, and the team plays under the nickname Las Bravas. The furthest FC Juárez Femenil have gone is the quarter-finals of the Liguilla, most recently in Clausura 2026.

The team still calls the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez home.
