Guadalajara Women

In the final of the Apertura 2017, in the first season Liga MX Femenil ever played, Chivas Femenil beat Pachuca to take the title — a trophy earned before the club had a full year of competitive football behind it. The team had been registered on 3 January 1997, but it took two decades before that registration turned into a squad that actually played for something.

Guadalajara Women is the women's section of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, run under the same ownership, Grupo Omnilife, and carrying the same red-and-white colours as the men's side. Around Estadio Akron, where the team plays its home matches, the shirt is known by the same names the men's Chivas wears: Rojiblancas, and among supporters, Chingonas. The nickname most tied to the women's side specifically is Rebaño Sagrado Femenil — the Sacred Herd, feminine form.

The second title came in the Clausura 2022, again against Pachuca in the final, giving the club a domestic double against the same opponent five years apart. That same season closed with the Campeón de Campeonas, the extra match that pits the Apertura and Clausura champions against each other — Chivas took it by beating Rayadas de Monterrey, the Apertura 2021 winners.

What the club has not managed is a repeat since. Two league titles and one super-cup, all clustered in 2017 and 2022, stand as the record so far — nothing added in the seasons between or after.
