Necaxa Women

Necaxa's women's side has been in Liga MX Femenil since the competition started in 2017, and in that time the team has never reached a final. Twelfth in the general classification is the high-water mark. The trophy cabinet is empty: no Primera División title, no Copa de la Liga, no Campeón de Campeonas.

The section was set up in the winter of 2016-17 as the women's arm of the men's club. That start date is why the record reads as it does — Necaxa were there for the league's first season and have been there for every one since, which is a different kind of continuity from the one silverware measures.

Home is the Estadio Victoria in Aguascalientes, a 23,000-seat ground the women's team shares with the men. The scale of it matters more than the architecture.

The colours are red and white — rojiblanco. In Aguascalientes they are also called the Hidrocálidas, after the city itself.

One outing outside the league sits in the record. In 2017 the team entered the Copa MX Femenil and finished fifth.
