What makes the stadium different is the football that has passed through it. They played on the natural grass. Today, Sporting Canamy picked one up again and have made it their home in the Liga Premier Serie A.
They do not come for the glamour of international tournaments; the stadium never hosted matches for the 1970 FIFA World Cup.
