Estadio Raúl Orlando Lungarzo
Chivilcoy, Argentina
Raúl Orlando Lungarzo served as a historic president and leader of Club Atlético Independiente de Chivilcoy, and when the ground opened on 25 May 1993, the club had no other name to give it — no former identity, no renaming later on. Locally it goes by a nickname instead, El Parque Rojo , the Red Park, a reference to the club's colours as much as to the ground itself.
The pitch is natural grass, and the stadium sits at the corner of Padre Zacarías and Bartolomé Benítez, near the Barrio San Ceferino. The one recorded change to the ground since opening is an expansion carried out in 2013 — though what exactly was added, and at what cost, isn't part of the club's public record.
There's no attendance record on file, nothing dramatic to hang the place on. What holds is simpler: a stadium named for the person who paid to have it built.
