Estadio Ricardo Gregor

Готовлю описание стадиона на английском языке, как требует задание.

On 21 July 2025, Recoleta FC and Sportivo Ameliano walked out onto a pitch nobody in Paraguay's top flight had played on before. That match made Estadio Ricardo Gregor the first venue to host a Primera División fixture on an artificial surface in the country's history.

The ground grew out of Independiente FBC, the club founded in 1925 that still owns it. What became the pitch started as an uneven patch of land in the barrio of Salvador del Mundo, also known as Campo Grande; only after the civil war of 1947 were the fields levelled and the first wooden stands built. By the time it was cleared for professional football, it already carried the name of Ricardo Gregor.

That clearance came on 3 April 2011, when Independiente met Atlético 3 de Febrero in the stadium's first official professional match. A further round of work in March 2017 added floodlights and rebuilt the stands before the ground reopened for First Division football. Independiente still calls the ground home, sharing it with Deportivo Recoleta, and neither club runs a dedicated stadium website — news from Ricardo Gregor travels through the clubs' own channels instead.
