Stadium
Estádio Serra Grande
Uruaçu, Brazil
It is the home of local outfits like Uruaçu Esporte Clube and Uruaçu FC. The stadium underwent a significant overhaul recently, with work finishing around October 2020. This renovation, funded by a parliamentary amendment, restored the old facility and added tribunes named for local communication professionals, such as Ezecson Fernandes de Sá, acknowledging the city’s own history rather than importing prestige.
It is a simple message, but it fits the tone of the place. A smaller banner reads SERRA DOURADA RUMO A COPA , a reminder of dreams that have not quite materialised.
