Estadio Tlahuicole

When promotion to the Ascenso MX was refused on the basis that the stadium did not meet the division's requirements, the state government and the club's owners committed to a reconstruction that ran from 2017 to 2021 and cost 180 million pesos.

It came in two stages. The side grandstands were finished first and handed over in December 2019, with a Carlos Rivera concert rather than a match marking the opening. An earlier and far smaller job, 15 million pesos in 2014, had done what was needed for the club's debut in the Segunda División Premier: boxes, benches, press positions, dressing rooms and the pitch itself.

The venue also carries a second name, Estadio Tlahuicole 500, adopted to mark five centuries since the encounter between Tlaxcalan and Spanish cultures in 1519–1520. Concerts have long been part of its calendar — Molotov, Bunbury, Caifanes, Los Bunkers, later Alejandro Fernández and Natanael Cano. The swearing-in of the governor-elect was to be held here in 2020 before the pandemic put a stop to it. The largest crowd recorded for a professional match, 1,339, came against Alebrijes de Oaxaca on 7 August 2026.
