Estadio Tucumán Central

What it has is continuity of place: the club bought the plot in Villa Alem in 1940 from Percy Hill, one of its own founders and a figure in the Tucumán football federation, and has not moved since.

Before that, the club shifted grounds twice. From 1921 to 1928 it played on Muñecas, between Italia and España; from 1928 until the move to Villa Alem it used a ground opposite the fire station on 25 de Mayo, with wooden stands. Neither site's capacity is recorded, which makes the current 4,500 the only figure the club's history actually offers.

The pitch is natural grass. Estadio Tucumán Central has kept its name since 1940 despite the club itself going through several — from Comandante Cristóbal Araujo to Bomberos Fútbol Club before settling on Tucumán Central. No sponsor has ever attached itself to the stadium's name, and no architect or builder is credited in any record of the 1940 construction.
