Estádio Zezinho Magalhães

Jaú's ground carries a name change but not a move: the current stands sit exactly where the old Estádio Artur Simões once stood before it came down. What opened here on 15 August 1973 replaced that earlier field on the same plot, marking the site's second life rather than a first construction. The inaugural match brought Jauzão up against Juventus, who left with a 2-1 win; the first goal ever scored on the new pitch belongs to Dejair Godoy.

The naming honours José Maria Malaquias de Almeida Prado, known locally as Zezinho, who served both as club president and as Jaú's mayor during the 1950s — a double role that ties the ground's identity to the town's civic history as much as to football.

Floodlights arrived in 1978, four towers carrying 78 units between them, and they made international football possible at a ground that size. The first test came on 5 November that year, when Jauzão beat Paraguay's Cerro Porteño 3-0 under the new lights. The record for numbers through the gate, though, belongs to an earlier and purely domestic occasion: 24,533 spectators packed in on 5 June 1977 to watch a 3-0 win over Corinthians in the state championship, a figure the ground has not approached since. Its modern-era high point is far more modest — 9,483 for a game against Desportivo Brasil on 18 September 2016, the same year the stands were repainted in club colours and the security posts brought up to state federation standard.
