Estádio Zezinho Magalhães has been home to every side that has worn the XV de Jaú badge, long enough for locals to have given the ground its own nickname, "Jauzão". How many people it actually holds is disputed: the Brazilian Football Confederation lists room for 12,978, while the São Paulo state federation's fan statute and the club's own website count 9,999. It is here that the Sub-20 squad lines up in the same green, yellow and white the club adopted at its founding, in a nod to the Brazilian flag.

That founding came on 15 November 1924, under the name Esporte Clube XV de Novembro de Jaú. The senior team built its reputation in the following decades, winning the state's second division, the Campeonato Paulista Série A2, in 1951 and again in 1976, the first of those promotions coming after a final against Jabaquara. In amateur football, the club strung together city titles through most of the 1940s, and in 1954 beat Palmeiras 4-2 on the way to the Taça das Goleadas, awarded to the interior's most attacking side.

The junior side has its own high point in that record. In 2005, the Sub-20 team won the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20, beating Santos in the final. These days it takes on opponents from the same age-group championship, among them Palmeiras, Ituano and Grêmio Prudente, but a state title to match that 2005 run has not followed.
