Porto Football U20

Porto Ferreira had already seen two football clubs come and go before this one arrived: the old Porto Ferreira FC, which wore black and white, and Sociedade Esportiva Palmeirinha, which played in green. When the town needed a side to carry the game forward, Porto Foot Ball Ltda was built to hold both colours at once — its tricolour kit still carries the stripes of one club and the green of the other. It was registered on 26 April 2022 as the first football club in Porto Ferreira to be run as a company rather than a members' association, and despite the name, has no link to the Portuguese club FC Porto; it simply takes its name from its home city, Porto Ferreira, in São Paulo state.

The under-20 side has done most of the talking since. In 2025 it reached the final of the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20 Série B, where Paulinense got the better of them across two legs. The run still carried the team up to Série A Sub-20 for 2026. That same year the senior side played its first season in the FPF's Série B, its first taste of the professional pyramid.

Home games are played at the Estádio Ferreirão, built in 1982 for the old Porto Ferreira FC and inherited along with the rest of that club's history. It holds around 5,000, though one stand is often kept closed.

Paulinense remain the name to beat: the only side to have stood between Porto Foot Ball and a title so far, in the final that decided who went up.
