Mauá U20

Betinho Dragões built Mauá Futebol Clube as a clube-empresa, run on shares rather than membership votes, and it is inside that structure that the under-20 side takes its place. The team was entered into competition on 23 October 2017, representing the city of Mauá in São Paulo state.

Mauá U20 plays in the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20, where the fixture list puts it against academies with far longer track records than its own — Palmeiras, Ituano and Flamengo SP among them. No trophy from that competition appears against the club's name in the records kept so far.

Home matches are played at the Pedro Benedetti Municipal Stadium, on Pope John XXIII Avenue in the Parque São Vicente district. Built in 1984, expanded in 2006 and renovated again in 2019, the ground is capped at 8,567 under municipal fire code, though the stands themselves hold closer to 10,590.

The kit follows the senior club's colours: yellow shirt, shorts and socks at home, black worn away. Not yet a decade old, the side continues to build its record in the Sub-20 championship, matched each season against academies that have had far longer to shape theirs.
