RB Bragantino U20

In 2025, the Nabizão came down. Estádio Nabi Abi Chedid was closed and demolished to make way for a new arena, and the club's youth sides, the U20 group among them, were left to find fixtures elsewhere — several Brasileiro U20 matches shifted to the 12,000-capacity Estádio Municipal Cícero de Souza Marques while the rebuild goes on.

The club was not always called Red Bull Bragantino. It began life on 8 January 1928 as Clube Atlético Bragantino, in the town of Bragança Paulista, north of São Paulo, and kept that name and its black-and-white colours for the best part of a century. From 1 January 2020 the club took the Red Bull name outright, and red joined the old alvinegro on the shirts — white and red at home, black away, maroon for the third kit.

The senior side's honours board is not long, but it is not empty either: two Série B titles, in 1989 and 2019, a Campeonato Paulista crown in 1989, and a run to the 2021 Copa Sul-Americana final, lost to Athletico Paranaense. Claudinho was voted the best player of the 2020 Brasileirão before his move to RB Leipzig, a transfer that traced the same route the club's academy exists to feed.

Across town, Ponte Preta have been the fixture to circle since 1931, a rivalry old enough to have outlasted several versions of the club's own name. For now, the U20 group trains and plays out of Bragança Paulista with its usual home ground gone, waiting, like the rest of the club, for the new stadium to be finished.
