Independent records credit the side with the same total but swap in a 1969 triumph where the club lists 1958.

The team plays out of the CFA Laudo Natel in Cotia, where the academy trains, and its home ground there — the Estádio Marcelo Portugal Gouvêa — holds 1,500. Finals draw the side to Morumbi instead.

In the Brasileiro Sub-20, the closest São Paulo has come is second place, in 2021, losing the final to Internacional over two legs, 0-2 then 1-1.

Kaká came through it before winning the Ballon d'Or. So did Cafu, Rogério Ceni and, more recently, Casemiro and Ederson. The academy's output continued into the current generation with Antony, David Neres and Lucas Beraldo, among others who moved on from the same youth set-up.

The side reached the Paulista Sub-20 final again in 2023, beaten by Palmeiras, and once more in 2025, this time losing to Santos — even without a fresh name added to that list since 2016.
