Osasco Audax finds its sharpest edge close to home. The Clássico Osasquense against Grêmio Esportivo Osasco carries a strange twist: for a period after 2013, the two rivals shared an owner while their teams stayed apart on the pitch. Further out, there is history with Clube Atlético Juventus, a rivalry known as "Juvedax", born from disputes over players moving between the clubs, and matches against Grêmio Barueri and Oeste FC that fill out the regional calendar.

The football side traces back to a project called Pão de Açúcar Esporte Clube, founded on 9 January 1986 as a social initiative rather than a football operation — the sporting section only followed in 2004. The Audax name arrived in 2013, bought from Audax Rio, giving the Osasco club its current identity while the Rio side carried on separately under the same name.

The U20 side sits under that structure, in a Grêmio Osasco Audax first team that once fielded players such as Tchê Tchê, Ytalo and Sidão in 2016, though most had already been shaped by academies like Corinthians, Flamengo, Palmeiras and Internacional before arriving. Tchê Tchê passed through the PAEC youth ranks early on, but his career took shape elsewhere.

Youth silverware has come more readily than senior honours: titles at Sub-17 level in 2008, at Sub-15 in 2012 and 2015, and the Copa Promissão in 2007 and again at Sub-17 in 2013. The senior team's best campaign remains the 2016 runner-up finish in the Campeonato Paulista's top flight, either side of a Série A3 title in 2019 and the old Segunda Divisão crown in 2008, still under the Pão de Açúcar name.

Home games are played at the Estádio Municipal Prefeito José Liberatti, nicknamed Rochdalão, now classified for 17,430 spectators.
