Aguai U20

Aguai U20 spend this season fighting to stay in the top flight of the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20, sitting in the relegation zone after finishing fifth in their 2024 group with five points. No silverware has come their way yet, and the squad the club fields now is built for survival rather than for chasing a title.

The club carries the name of Aguaí, a town in the interior of São Paulo state, but Sport Clube Águaí Entretenimento Ltda, the entity that actually runs the team, only registered in August 2021. An older association calling itself Aguai Futebol Clube had been on record since 1999, and before that the town had its own football tradition through Associação Atlética Aguaiana into the 1940s and 50s. The current club is not descended from either — it is a separate initiative, launched with backing from the local administration to put teams into the state's Sub-15, Sub-17 and Sub-20 age-group competitions.

Home games are played at Estádio Municipal Dr. Leonardo Guaranha, which opened in 1984 and holds somewhere in the region of 1,000 to 1,500 spectators depending on which count is used. Green and white are the club's colours, carried through into the crest, though the 2023–24 home kit supplied by Deka leaned into a darker green shade. That is worth noting because it marks a break from the blue-and-white associated with the old Seleção Aguaiana and AA Aguaiana — a reminder that this is a new club wearing the town's name rather than picking up where the earlier sides left off.

No academy graduate has yet broken through to senior professional football from the group, and the club is not tied to any professional side as a feeder team. Among the current squad, Bruno Souza is the name that comes up most often when the team is discussed.
