ETV Sporthalle Hoheluft
Hamburg, Germany
The ETV Sporthalle Hoheluft sits quietly at Lokstedter Steindamm 52, tucked inside the broader ETV Sportzentrum complex that saw its official opening in October 2021. It is a functional space maintained by Eimsbütteler Turnverband e.V., a club with roots stretching back to 1889. While the larger site was planned in 2019, the specific history of this hall’s construction remains unclear, leaving its origins to be inferred rather than stated.
The hall does not host football, nor does it carry the weight of a city’s primary sporting identity. Instead, it holds its cards close for the ETV Piranhhas Hamburg floorball team and the ETV Hamburger Volksbank Volleys. The hall serves as their home base. The floor is configured for activities that require precise footing, though the exact surface material is not recorded in public sources.
This venue keeps a tight circle around its community. It remains simply the ETV Sporthalle Hoheluft, a steady presence in the Hoheluft district.
