Fajr Stadium
Women's football is what carries this ground's name beyond Kerman Province. Fajr Stadium is the home of Bam Khatoon F.C., one of the more prominent women's clubs in Iran. The men of Shahrdari Bam have used it too.
Underfoot it is synthetic. That is not a neutral detail here: club officials and coaching staff have said openly that they want natural grass laid.
The stadium sits in the Santo neighbourhood of Bam, on Imam Khomeini Boulevard, though some local listings file the same entrance under Moallem Boulevard, which is worth knowing before you go looking for the gate.
The complex has been added to rather than replaced: a multi-purpose hall within it was completed in 2018, after the football ground was already in use.
One point of order for anyone searching the records. This is not the Fajr Stadium in Shiraz, the ground long tied to Fajr Sepasi, a club that now plays its football at Pars Shiraz Stadium.
