Farah Stadium
Farah Stadium is home to Abu Muslim FC and Adalat Farah FC, and their derby has produced results that would raise eyebrows anywhere: a goalless draw on 9 May 2024, then an 8–0 rout the following season that drew accusations of match-fixing, complaints to the Afghanistan Football Federation, and the withdrawal of a third local club, Attack Energy, in protest at what it saw as a fixed outcome.
The stadium's own history is thinner on record. It appears in some listings under an older name, Zaman Shah Stadium, though nothing in the available sources explains when or why the change happened.
Confusion follows the name beyond Farah itself. A stadium once called Farah Stadium in Tehran was renamed Takhti Stadium back in 1980, and some club databases list Abu Muslim as playing at a "Ghazi Stadium" in Farah — a mix-up with the much better-known Ghazi Stadium in Kabul, an entirely separate ground. None of that changes what the Farah ground actually is: a provincial pitch with no listed capacity, no confirmed surface type, and no official presence online, known mainly for the derby it hosts and the dispute that derby caused.
