Fatorda Stadium

FC Goa have called it home since 2014, and it has hosted two ISL finals, in 2015 and 2020. But Fatorda has never really belonged to one club. Salgaocar, Churchill Brothers, Sporting Clube de Goa and Vasco have all used it as a neutral home ground during the I-League years, and when Dempo's own stadium fell short of licensing requirements for 2024/25, they moved their fixtures here too. The India national team has played home matches on this pitch since 1989.

Cricket found it early: the first international came on 25 October 1989, Australia against Sri Lanka in the Nehru Cup, and nine ODIs have followed since, including India against England in 2006 and against Sri Lanka in 2007.

The seating tells its own story of scaling back — plans once put capacity as high as 20,000, but individual seating installed since has settled the number at 19,000, a deliberate trade of numbers for comfort.
