FFK National Educational Camp

What sits at Хайвали, on the southern edge of Приштина, was not built to hold a crowd. UEFA money — about €1 million — put it up in 2017 as a training base, and within the same year the name on the paperwork changed from Хайвалия Стадион to the Национальный учебный лагерь ФФК. The shift in name marked the shift in purpose: the ground stopped belonging to a club and started belonging to the federation.

The club it belonged to before was КФ Хайвалия, which folded in 2018. Nothing has replaced it here. The pitches are worked by Kosovo's national sides rather than by a side playing a league season, and matches are staged around that.

The playing surface is plain natural grass — no hybrid weave of the kind laid at the Фадиль Вокрри in the city centre in 2024. That is one of the few things at Хайвали that has stayed as it was. Since 2023 the site has been under reconstruction, with no finish date passed yet. The plan attached to that work would take the main stadium from 4,000 places to 14,000 by 2026, and lift it to UEFA category four.

Until then the capacity figure and the building work describe two different grounds standing on the same coordinates: one a modest federation camp above Приштина, the other something a national side could host a qualifier in. Which of the two the visitor finds depends on when they come.
