Stadium
Gandzasar Stadium
Formerly: Lernagorts Stadium
The stadium opened in 1963 under Soviet rule as Lernagorts, home to the club of the same name.
Its one true claim to fame came in the 2017/18 season, when Gandzasar played its home leg of the campaign here before beating Alashkert on penalties after a 1-1 draw — though the final itself was staged in Yerevan, not Kapan. Five years earlier, in April 2013, the ground had already hosted a cup semi-final, when Yerevan's Pyunik edged Gandzasar 1-0.
The club's own website has sat unrenewed since 2013, so what little is published about the ground now travels mostly through football databases rather than any official channel.
