Gardabani Central Stadium
Gardabani had already lost its old name by the time this ground opened in 1947 — the town was still Garayazy on the record books, and the arena carried that name too, Central Stadium, Garayazy, before both were folded into the Gardabani that appears on maps today. Almost eight decades on, the pitch on Agmashenebeli Street is one of the few things in town that still answers to the pre-Soviet geography.
Nothing here has been rebuilt for a tournament or dressed up for a broadcast deal. The ground holds FC Gardabani, who play their football in Georgia's third tier, in front of a capacity that different counts put at five thousand or as low as three — the kind of discrepancy that turns up when nobody has had reason to recheck the number in years. The natural grass pitch is kept for a level of football that draws no cup finals and no international fixtures, and none are recorded in its history.
There is no attendance record on file, no builder credited, no official site to check either against. What exists instead are the scraps any small-town ground accumulates — a pin on a map service, a listing in a local directory — which is about the level of attention a third-division fixture list demands. The stadium's real distinction is simply outlasting the name it was built under.
