Work in 2007 and 2008 gave the main stand a rebuild and added roughly 300 standing places to meet First League rules. Over the winter break of 2010/11, a new stand went up on the east side, holding 755. The largest change followed SV Grödig's first promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga in 2013, when the main stand was extended again, and a new roundabout and a car park for more than 1,100 vehicles were laid out around the site.
The pitch carries undersoil heating, which keeps fixtures on through the Austrian winter, and a separate artificial surface nearby takes the training load off the grass.
The name has tracked its sponsors rather than the club: the ground has been known as Untersberg-Arena and, later, DAS.GOLDBERG-Stadion.
SV Grödig no longer has the place to itself. FC Liefering, the development side tied to Red Bull Salzburg, also plays its home fixtures here, since its own ground does not always meet league requirements or stands free for other use.
