Geolog

Geolog dates back to 1982, and the club it hosts, FC Tyumen, sit in the third tier this season, in Division A of the Second League. What sets the ground apart is the decade it spent under reconstruction: work began in 2001 and did not finish until 2011, and the gates reopened on 31 July that year. Capacity came down in the process, from the original 16,000 to the current 13,057.

The pitch itself has had its own history. A heated artificial surface replaced the old covering in 2016. A separate training pitch on the same site holds 600 in its stands.

The address on Ulitsa Kommuny has stayed constant through all of it, even as the stadium's shape and standing changed around it.
