Georg-Weber-Stadion
The stadium takes its name not from a sponsor but from a man: on 21 July 1996, marking the club's centenary, TSV 1896 Rain am Lech renamed its ground after Georg Weber, a former club chairman and founder of the Dehner garden-centre chain, who had died a decade earlier.
The centenary also brought a new clubhouse, opened the same year with 262 covered seats plus a further 100 under cover on the eastern terrace, replacing what had been little more than a six-row stand next to an open standing area, with three uncovered steps facing it on the far side. A second phase of building work, a new stand, followed in 2006.
Rain am Lech is not a name that turns up often outside Bavarian amateur football, and the ground reflects that: capacity sits at 3,400. Attendances recorded here have ranged as low as 390 and as high as 1,000.
