Goodwin Park

What Goodwin Park holds is Olympic FC, the Yeronga club that has called this ground home since it was founded in 1967, and the memory of the water that came through it.

The 2010–2011 floods put the pitch under and left the club to rebuild it from the surface up. That the natural grass field is playable again, rather than any architectural feature, is the fact worth carrying forward about this ground.

Beyond the main pitch, two synthetic five-a-side surfaces sit on the grounds.

Even the address resists a clean answer: some records give 50 Cansdale Street, others 230 Brisbane Corso, both in Yeronga — the same patch of ground on the map, described two different ways depending on who you ask.
