Gradski stadion Vitez

Before the ground existed, Градски стадион Витез had a water problem. The club that became NK Vitez — founded in 1947 under the name NK Radnik — played on temporary pitches around the town, and those pitches flooded. Building a permanent ground took four years, from 1958 to 1962, and from that season the club had somewhere that stayed put.

The more recent story is the one the town itself wrote. In 2013 the municipality, Опћина Витез, ordered a full reconstruction of the ground and paid for it, with Ganik d.o.o. contracted to do the work. New stands went up. A second phase of stand construction followed in 2016. The reason for the urgency was straightforward: through the 2013/14 season NK Vitez had no usable home and played its matches in Зеница. The rebuild brought the club back to its own address.

What sits there now holds 3,500. The record attendance is lower — 2,500 — On a natural grass surface, the pitch carries the load of two clubs rather than one: NK Vitez, who play in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and FK Vitez share it.
