Gungahlin Enclosed Oval

Four codes share this ground, and that was the point of building it. The ACT Government put up Gungahlin Enclosed Oval for local representative sides in soccer, Australian rules, rugby league and rugby union, with Gungahlin United FC, the Gungahlin Jets, the Gungahlin Bulls and the Gungahlin Eagles all calling Warwick Street home.

Substitute Michael Gaitatzis settled it in the 82nd minute for the visitors, 1–0, in front of 1,603 people — a figure that has stood as the attendance record since. That same month the venue took A-League pre-season friendlies, among them matches involving the Central Coast Mariners, and earlier in 2015 it had been kept in reserve as a backup training base for teams stationed in Canberra for the Asian Cup. Because the ground carries grand finals — the Katrina Fanning Shield in Canberra Region Rugby League, and Capital Football National Premier League deciders — reports in 2024 flagged drainage problems that leave the turf muddy and uneven after heavy rain. Funding announced for 2025-26 covers female-friendly changeroom upgrades.
