Hældager Stadion
The ground sits inside a municipal sports complex on Nørremarksvej, in the Bredballe district on the eastern edge of Vejle, and the pitch is only one part of what the site does. Vejle Municipality owns and maintains the whole of Bredballe Idrætscenter, which explains a good deal about the place: the last round of renovation work across the complex was finished in 2023.
That municipal ownership also accounts for the artificial pitches alongside. The main playing surface is natural grass, but Bredballe Kunstgræsbane stands next to it with floodlights, taking training and the fixtures the grass cannot hold when the winter closes in.
The tenant is Bredballe IF, founded in 1951 — the ground itself is harder to date, and no construction record has surfaced. The club plays at a level where 2,000 places are more than enough, and the venue has hosted no final, no record crowd and no incident worth recording.
Its current name is not Hældager Stadion at all. A naming rights agreement made it Bauhaus Park Hældager, which is the official designation now.
