The surface itself is split, natural turf running alongside an artificial UMT strip with floodlights.

The ground has been rebuilt in pieces rather than all at once, with work recorded in 1964, 1967, 1975, 1980, 1996 and 1998 — six separate passes. No date survives for when the pitch first opened, but the club itself traces back further: a note from 1930 marking its 22nd anniversary puts the founding around 1908.

The fullest the terraces ever got came during the Second World War, when crowds of 600 to 1,000 turned out between 1939 and 1945, and 1944 in particular, the year the team went up into the I. A třída. That figure sits above the ground's listed capacity today.
