Ibrogimbek Gaforov Stadium

The Ibrogimbek Gaforov Stadium is not the biggest venue Hisor has to offer — but this smaller ground has stayed the home patch of Barkchi Hisor, the club also once known as Energetik Dushanbe and Barki Tojik Hisor before settling into its current name and city identity.

At three thousand seats, the ground is modest in scale. Beyond that, the record thins out: no confirmed year of construction has surfaced, and the exact street address has gone unrecorded in the sources that do exist.

The stadium's naming carries its own small confusion worth noting — some references list it under the city of Dushanbe, a mix-up that has followed Barkchi Hisor through its various rebrandings, when in fact both club and ground sit in Hisor. Hisor itself, spelled Gissar in older transliterations, remains the fixed point across every version of the name.
