Keda Central Stadium

The ground in Keda carries a name now, not just a function. Since 2015 it has been officially the Archil Fartenadze Stadium — before that it was simply the Central Stadium.

There is nothing grand about the place. A single natural grass pitch, no running track, no floodlights, along the Adjaristsqali river. The address puts it on Rustaveli Street.

FC Betlemi Keda have called it home, and it was here that the club worked through its Pirveli Liga campaigns in the early 2010s, finishing mid-table — tenth of twelve in Group A in 2012–13 — against sides from around the country. Budget records show the municipality setting money aside for the stadium's rehabilitation in 2014, and again in 2020, when just over 105,000 lari went toward sports facilities in the settlement, evidence of a ground kept going through small repairs rather than one grand rebuild.

No record survives of when it was first built, and no record of a capacity crowd either. What is documented is more modest: a name change, a couple of rehabilitation grants, and a club that used the pitch to get through its league fixtures without much fuss.
