Betlemi

Betlemi Keda go into the 2025-26 season in Liga 3, Georgia's fourth tier, and their run in this year's David Kipiani Cup ended with a 5-4 defeat to Iveria Khashuri.

The club has represented Keda, a town in the Adjara region, since 1950, though the Georgian-language record of its history places the founding more loosely, somewhere across the 1950s and 1960s. It is funded by the Adjara regional government together with the Keda municipality rather than by private owners, and is not to be confused with the separate Betlemi club in Tbilisi. Home matches are played at Keda Central Stadium, which holds 1,000 people.

Betlemi's best result in the league came in 1988, when it finished second in the western zone of the Georgian Second League.

In 2017, a 4-1 win over Kolkheti Khobi drew the attention of the Georgian football federation as part of a wider investigation into match-fixing across the country. Four Betlemi players and an assistant coach were banned from the game for life, the club was fined 50,000 lari, and it dropped down a division.

Betlemi's deepest run in the Georgian Cup, reached sometime in the 1980s and 1990s, stopped at the quarter-final stage against Kolkheti Poti — the closest thing the club has to a defining rival.
