The landscape practice FOJAB drew the new layout, and what came out of it was a main arena on artificial turf, Centrumplanen, ringed by the rest of the complex — two full-size grass pitches and six smaller ones. The work went well beyond the playing surface, taking in a clubhouse for Lunds BK and the wider grounds.

One consequence of that rebuild is easy to miss: the ground now holds fewer people than it once did. Older records still circulate with far larger figures, and they belong to a version of Klostergårdens IP that no longer exists. The attendance mark set here has stood since 1985, when Malmö FF came the short distance from the coast for a friendly and a cup tie and drew 5,586 — a total the reduced stands cannot now match.

Lunds BK share the site with Hallands Nations FF and Skånekurd FF, and the ground has taken in clubs with nowhere else to play: Torns IF hosted IFK Göteborg here in 2018, and Trelleborgs FF brought AIK for a Swedish Cup tie when their own stadium was unavailable.

In 2024 the ground staged 16 matches of the UEFA Women's U17 Euro, the final among them. Sweden against England pulled 2,380 spectators, a Swedish record for a women's U17 fixture.
