Ljungbergsplanen
Ljungbergsplanen sits in the Kvarnsveden district of Borlänge.
The municipality bought the ground from the club in 2015, then spent 12 million kronor two years later on lighting and new stands so it could actually host the league.
On 14 May 2016, Kvarnsvedens IK hosted Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC and 1,277 people found their way onto the terraces of a ground that officially holds 1,010 — still the highest attendance recorded there.
The name goes back further than any of that, to Erik Johan Ljungberg, director of the Kvarnsveden paper mill. The sponsor names that have circulated around the site since — Stora Enso Arena among them — belong properly to the indoor hall next door, though the two get mixed up often enough in the local press to be worth separating.
