Lokomotiv
Moscow, Russia
Formerly: Stalinets, Lokomotiv
In the Preobrazhenskoye District, the ground is situated in an area with surrounding apartments.
The current structure replaced two predecessors, one dating back to the 1930s. The playing surface is natural grass. For the supporters of **FC Lokomotiv Moscow**, it remains the primary home.
During the 2013–14 season, the pitch hosted **FC Spartak Moscow** as well, while their own stadium was being renovated. After a renovation in 2017, the capacity settled at 27,320, a reduction from the 28,800 seats that greeted visitors at the opening in 2002.
The most notable crowd to fill these seats gathered on November 26, 2019, for a **UEFA** Champions League group stage match against Bayer Leverkusen, drawing 25,757 spectators.
The name **RZD Arena** appears on signage following a sponsorship agreement, but many still refer to it by its previous title, **Lokomotiv Stadium**, especially in international competitions.
