The rebuild that reopened this ground in November 2024 came with a bill attached to a gold producer rather than a football federation: 216.3 million soms.

The stand itself goes back to 1975. What's underfoot has changed more than once since: natural grass for decades, an artificial pitch laid down in 2019 through a grant from the Japanese embassy, and now a hybrid turf put in during the 2024 overhaul.

Capacity is where the record turns touch and go: 2,150 seats by the count taken after reconstruction, though older listings still put the ground at 4,500. Either way, the fullest it's been on record was 1 July 2018, when 2,500 turned up for a Kyrgyzstan Cup semi-final between Kara-Balta and Alay.
